Dr. Yingwei Fei is an expert in high-pressure materials synthesis using various static and dynamic compression methods. He has developed high-pressure techniques to optimize large-volume synthesis that enables critical characterizations of recovered high-pressure samples. His group’s innovative work on high-pressure nanocasting opens new synthesis pathways at high pressure. His broad collaborations provide the Center with access to various large-volume high-pressure synthesis facilities around the world.
